This is a little talk that I like to give kids when I first start giving private lessons to them. This is the idea that in order for you to bring out the best in your wrestling, you must start to become involved in the process of your own improvement. It amazes me how this is so far outside the norm. Most kids will go from practice to practice and never ask any questions, never have any issues that they want to work on. Usually, they wait until a coach comes over to them with the information, they don't seek it. I'm telling you to consistently seek advice if you wish to get better at something.
